Beautiful seafood restaurant downtown with a diverse seafood menu including all sorts of fish, clams, scallops, and oysters. I ordered a virgin mojito, roasted beet salad with ahi tuna. It was delicious and came with plenty of beets and pistachios. The clam chowder has bacon so I did not order that, their soup of the day was a Tuscan chicken

I must excellent good quality definitely fresh! The service is also great so that's nice. Very cute place too they had underwater footage playing on the tv so it was pretty peaceful. I only have 4 stars because I've had the same fresh quality stuff for half the price. I must say extremely expensive. Shrimp cocktail and 6 oysters was $50.... You could get the same cheaper. Nothing here really stood out to be paying that much.

Bonny and Read is in walking distance from the Hyatt place and was a little gem in Colorado Springs! The seafood and oysters were fresh and the tuna poke lunch special was absolutely delicious; light, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is inviting, making it perfect for anything from date nights to casual lunches. The service was outstanding; attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, with great recommendations that made the experience even better. Don't miss out on the great happy hour specials.

Bonny and Read was introduced to me by my brother's friend. This is his favorite restaurant in the Springs and I can see why. Their menu is all so mouth watering! The staff here all seem so helpful and attentive. This place got packed pretty quickly so I can only imagine how much stressful this night was for them but they all seem to be unfazed. We started with a round of drinks: Old Fashion was my my poison and it was delicious! For appetizers we all shared the blue crab dip and the shrimp and scallops ceviche. Both were pretty, but I was a little confused why there was a snow crab claw in the blue crab dip.. I know the claw was mainly for decorations but I found it odd. The shrimp and scallops ceviche had the small cocktail shrimps in the ceviche which I didn't like too much. For $18 I would think that chunks of good shrimp should be used over the cheap version. For my entree I ordered the special that evening which was the sirloin steak with crab stuffed mushrooms. My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and the stuffed mushrooms were very flavorful. I was hoping that the steak would have been a little thicker but the overall the meal was good.

I absolutely love Bonny and Read! The food here is excellent, the ambience is inviting and relaxing, and the service is spectacular! The staff here is amazing and accommodating. We had the blue crab dip , half a dozen oysters from Massachusetts, a pound of snow crab with asparagus and mashed potatoes. everything was absolutely delectable! The crab here is the best in town! it is so sweet and tender, and removing it from the shell is such an easy and smooth process. It doesn't tear into 1 million pieces. It comes out whole. We came here for date night, and just every expectation was met. Even in their blue crab dip, they have a crab claw. The food is so very delicious.! I highly recommend this restaurant !

We were able to get seating right away for dinner. They have a unique and elegant decor with chandeliers and nice paintings. All seating are well spaced booths which is so nice because you can have a little privacy. Our server was very attentive and nice. She also worked the bar so she was busy. We ordered this mammoth shared cocktail that cost $28 but was very tasty and honestly too much alcohol so we didn't finish. I ordered the salmon which was well made...the garnish was very zesty and tasty. My friend ordered the chopped salad with tofu. Prices were a little on the higher side but not bad considering the quality of food. Definitely go back if I'm in town.

We came here for late lunch after finishing the Manitou incline. We were seated right away since we got there close to 4. We ordered our well deserved cocktails! We got the white bubbly Cosmo and the Paloma martini. We also ordered the 14 oz rib eye with a side of mash and broccolini, the Cioppino, a bowl of clam chowder and a half dozen oysters. The customer service was great, everyone was friendly and our server checked on us often. The clam chowder is a must try. The rib eye had a garlic butter on top which was an added plus. I thought the Cioppino was just okay, it was very acidic and could have been balanced out better. Overall, a good place to eat if you are craving for some steak and seafood.

Expensive but very good seafood. The shrimp cocktail was absolutely delicious! Somewhat small shrimp, but they have that special crunch to them and the sauce is amazing! Spicy - so I especially liked it. And so much I ate it with my fork. My husband got the scallops with polenta. The scallops very good; the polenta quite bland as polenta usually is. I ordered the salmon - tender and flaky. Served with rice and broccolini it tasted good and healthy. My husband loved the snickers pie. I had to tell him it wouldn't be polite to lick the plate. I opted for the key lime pie. So good, creamy with that bit of sour taste of the lime. And our server gave me a lactaid pill. What other server would do that! Kudos to Mandy for helping and being a part of our celebration!

Food was served warm and plated to appeal the fiod tasted good, and met expectations. The service was blah, i was not impressed with the service, and they lacked enthusiasm. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Someone wasted a liquid by my seat on the floor, and i made staff aware. It took a long time to clean it, and it was poorly done. I was concerned i would slip with my walker.
